Faith & Art - All Ages

Service Description

Where the love of Jesus shines! Faith & Art class is a joyful time where students of all ages not only get to learn about hand-to-eye coordination, manual dexterity, concentration and visual perception, but also get to share the beautiful message of God’s love.   Students will learn about line drawing, contour, basic shapes, texture, color, symbolism, dimension, balance, special reasoning, design, style and more.  The class will explore various art tools such as: pastels, crayons, pencils, paint, charcoals and more.  Each class will begin and end with a prayer, as well as take time each session to share about Jesus.  Whether it’s illustrating Noah’s ark, drawing one of God’s creations, or designing from the talent God gave each one of us, every activity is rooted in the beautiful message of God’s love.   We can’t wait to discover where the Holy Spirit will lead us, come join us!  Family price includes up to 6 people in one household family. Oakton students will receive a 20% discount. Cost includes all art supplies needed for each class.  Although, you are welcome to bring your own art supplies if desired. About Liz Moser Liz Moser was born and raised in Texas. She earned her B.A. in Political Science with a minor in Spanish from the University of North Texas. Liz holds a current teaching certificate from the State of Texas and has been teaching for over 25 years. Liz’s first introduction to teaching was in Japan, teaching Kindergarten as well as English to teens and adults. Liz has been a Sunday school teacher for over 6 years, written and illustrated a Christian children’s book and is sharing the gospel through art in various places in the community. Her heart belongs to Jesus and enjoys her Christ centered family life with her loving husband and sweet son in the piney woods of East Texas. Enrichment classes are hosted at Oakton Academy, though the classes and their instructors are independent.
